I make it my goal to work with others on engaging students, involving students, and reacclimating students back into a safe, welcoming environment after the COVID-19 school lockdowns. My focuses involve social media curation and content for the 2024 class social media, contributing and listening to ideas at ASB meetings, assisting with events and helping students find their way through, and working on improving, creating, and promoting student awareness.

Lake Stevens School District

Student Advisory Council member since January 2022.

Since SACo was established, I have worked with my fellow members to give students a voice in our educational work, and create a clearer connection between our student body and the school district and its board. I’ve been happy to see policies like the Graduation Requirement Emergency Waiver, the Equity Policy, and the Academic Acceleration Policy pass under our time as SACo members. Right now, I am happy to be working on anti-discrimination work with my fellow members also. As a SACo member, I have also gotten to me with officials like Governor Jay Inslee, State Senator John Lovick, and Lieutenant Governor Denny Heck to discuss and further our education priorities within the state of Washington.
